Renovation of an office building for the European Space Agency (ESA) in the centre of Paris, in a very densely populated, upmarket neighbourhood. This required vibration and noise monitoring for the neighbouring building to ensure safety and minimal disturbances.
Challenge
Monitor the level of vibration and noise for neighbouring buildings as required by the contracting authority (ESA).
Need : monitor noise and vibration levels.
UBY solutions
We installed class 1 acoustic sensors (SVANTEK) and vibration sensors at strategic points of the project.
These sensors send their reading in real-time to the data management platform.
The contractor can use our reports as objective measures of noise and vibration.
